The New Studio

Today’s post is all about my new studio, opening my own studio has been a dream of mine ever since I started my business back in 2014. Yes I have had a home studio for several years but nothing beats having your own space where you can have everything permanently setup and nicely organised. To say I am happy is an understatement because I am over the moon and I am loving every moment I get to spend shooting in the new space.

The studio is equipped with a variety of props, textiles, outfits and accessories for newborn and sitter sessions. You will have the option of choosing the props that you would like used during your session or you can trust the photographer and let me style your sets in the colors of your choosing. To be on the safeside I start all of my sessions with neutral colours that will always go well with any colour scheme you decide to put in your home.

We also have a lovely selection of dresses in our client closet that keeps on gowing and can be used not just for maternity sessions but also for family sessions. I must say that most of the dresses are amazing and will make you feel like a queen when you wear them, giving you that confidence boost when you are in front of the camera.

During sessions parents can relax in the client area, whilst I work my magic with their baby/child. There is a kettle and selection of beverages and snacks that you can enjoy during that time. The best thing is that from there you can see the whole session as it takes place without getting in the way.

The studio is open by appointment only as I continue to do photography part time. But at least it will give me the facility to work all year around, no matter what the weather is like. So if you would like to book a studio session feel free to send me a message.
